After the campaigning is done and the election is won, who holds our elected officials in Cape May County and Municipal governments accountable for the promises they made and continue to make to taxpayers?
We expect transparency and when we don't get it, we will seek answers. We care. We listen. We will inform.
Don't miss what is going on in our community. Posts happen daily.
ENGAGE! Be part of the conversation.
NOVEMBER 30, 2022 / From the Cape May County Herald, Cape Issues addresses;
Essentials for Public Trust in Government: Communication, Transparency, and Accountability
By Barbara Murphy-Leary
I was asked to join the Cape Issues team a year ago. It was established in 2008 as a non-partisan volunteer group to advocate for the betterment of life in Cape May County. There are monthly meetings to focus on issues that are vital to the future of the county.
Do you care about the issues that impact your community? We are looking for contributors to share concerns and praise for the efforts exhibited by their town governments. Just the facts showing results or the lack there of. No campaigning. Send us a message.
